This piece is a look back to my feelings towards the beginning of my journey. I felt completely in the dark about where my life was going. I was diving into deeply held emotions that I feared I wouldn’t be able to get out of. I wanted to turn to someone but learned during my growth process I could only really turn inward and learn to trust myself to make it through these dark times.
